INFO

Our main goal is to offer you the best snowkite experience in your life and give you an amazing time on, how we like to call it, the “white gold”. We live and breathe snowkiting since over 10 years, have discovered loads of new spots, got in touch with hundreds of different people around the globe and visited the world snowkiting while working in the industry. Most kiters can’t even imagine what snowkiters are able to do. It’s not just kitesurfing on frozen water but more like using the terrain, explore the backcountry, climbing mountains the possibilities are endless… snowkiters have crossed Greenland from south to north in less than 40 days (2300km), have climbed high mountains like Mt. Blanc (4800m), or got deep in to vast powder backcountries  – snowkiting can be a true adventure.

If you are looking for that kind of adventure too, let us guide you so you can learn in a safe way, right spot and equipment and from the most experienced snowkiters out there. We offer different kind of camps in different locations for people that already know how to kite and collaborate with snowkite schools in case you are a complete beginner. We run small groups to make learning and guiding safer, more efficient and offer different levels depending on your skills.

Learn to snowkite:

You want to learn snowkiting during the Camps or anytime? No problem… let us know and we will hook you up with the best snowkiteschools around. We strongly recommend http://www.bigdayz.com/ based at the Berninapass which offers best conditions and professional lessons from the most experienced instructors.

Locations:

Most of our camps taking place in the European Alps in Switzerland and France as we have explored this area very well during the last 6 years and know all about the spots. But the main reason we do it in the Alps is that they are just perfect for snowkiting. From flat frozen lakes to steep high summits which you can climb more than 1000m high it offers everything… It’s the perfect playground for beginners and experts alike. The Alps also build a natural barrier for the weather coming from south or north means you mostly lucky on either the south or north side with blue bird sky and wind. You also get dynamic wind systems caused by the pressure difference from north to south. Many spots are easily accessible by car, ski lift or a short hike with accommodations always around making it all very easy. Basically everything a snowkiter needs is just there if you know about it.

Anyway there are other great places too. Such as the Hardangervidda plateau in Norway, the Abruzzos in Italy, mountains in Serbia and Montenegro and so on… so if you are looking for something more special you might be interested in these camps.

Equipment:

No compromise when it comes down to the equipment! We are only using Ozone Snowkites who’s the leading snowkiting brand. Ozone is definitely doing the best shit out there and has been the driving force of snowkiting with the first open cell depower foil kite design in 2002 – the Frenzy. The advantages of having an open cell foil kite on the snow are plain simple:

-          Easy and safe self launching and landing
-          Easy to self pack
-          Light weight and packs down small
-          Just unwind the lines and go – no pumping needed
-          For mountaineering and  backcountry touring you have to pack and unpack
your kite a couple of times – not possible with a inflatable tube kite
-          Intuitive and easy safety system makes the kite stall and looses all its power

Check out the video how easy it is with a foil kite
